Interpretation: It is not possible to draw conclusions based on isolated aspects of a radiology study. It is very common to find a trace amount of fluid in the cut de sac when doing a pelvic ultrasound. Without knowing the clinical circumstances no conclusions can be made a this time. Physiologic fluid can be a normal finding.
