"Back up " pain: The rectal pain is a result of all the blood flow going to the prostate and rectal area with nowhere to go when you did not ejaculate. The nerves to the rectum come from the same branch that goes to the prostate. It is a variance of "blue balls" with blood "backed up" until it subsides on its own.
