Relax: Please relax! Most women do fine with endometrial biopsy. The doctor inserts a very thin 3mm straw like pipe into your uterus to obtain some tissue. It is true that you might have pain and discomfort and cramps, but if you relax and breathe the actual insertion part takes only a minute or two. Take 800mg ibuprofen and 1000mg acetaminophen an hour before procedure if not allergic to them.
