Unrelated, but...: Probably your diarrhea is caused by neither penicillin nor syphilis, just a coincidence. But most males with syphils are men who have sex with men (MSM); you can't have syphilis without unsafe sex; unsafe MSM are at risk for a several gastrointestinal infections; and many MSM with syphilis have HIV, often with diarrhea. Discuss with the doctor or clinic treating your syphilis. Good luck!
