Missed period: Hello, If you are not currently on any birth control to explain the missed periods, you should have a evaluation. This would include a clinical exam with vaginal cultures, pelvic ultrasound and hormone levels (including Thyroid levels) to assess for causes. Some reasons for missed period besides pregnancy include cervical blockage, polycystic ovaries, thyroid dysfunction, hormonal imbalance,etc.
