Touched the end of a pot handle that was hot(palm). i've held under cold water. pain hasnt faded .. no medicine pain along outside palm?

Burn : Continue to apply a cold compress to the area. If it blisters, do not attempt to burst the blister. Do not apply any ointment to the area, as this may prolong the burn. If the skin appears white and/or waxy, seek immediate medical attention. You may also benefit from taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen for the pain.
