See Clinician: Cramping is not uncommon when starting/restarting an oral contraceptive. See your clinician if cramping persists, becomes severe, or recurs more than three months on pill. However, a creamy discharge could be due to several different conditions - normal physiologic, yeast, bacterial vaginosis, etc. If discharge is bothersome or persists, see your clinician for evaluation and appropriate testing
