Iron-rich foods: In general, iron-rich foods are recommended, but you also need all the other vitamins and minerals in order to be healthy and for your hair to grow normally. Sometimes hormonal imbalances can cause hair thinning, so if this is sudden, see your doctor to have some blood tests done. Hair also thins out just after childbirth too, and this corrects itself in a few months.
