Restart with condoms: Feel free to restart the pills now, one daily as prescribed. Use condoms for back up for at least the first two weeks and for STD prevention always. You can start on Sunday after your period starts if desired. This is not required but traditional and may result in less breakthrough bleeding.

Birth control start: Restarting a birth control pill is like starting a birth control pill for the first time. It is best to take the first pill on the first day of the next menstrual period. During the first pill cycle a backup method (condoms) should be used to optimize protection from an undesired pregnancy.
