Muscle pain: You have overdone it at the gym and your obliques are unhappy. Limit the stress on these muscles for a while, apply topical anti inflammatory gel, and it should resolve in a week or so

Muscle spasm: What you are experiencing is most likely spasm of some of the anterior abdominal wall muscles. They may be reacting to the work you did recently. If you continue to do controlled workout regularly, the problem should subside and stop.
