B6, B12 & neuropathy: The vitamins to take for neuropathy can vary a lot, depending on the cause. Some people with vitamin B12 deficiency need to take B12 - sometimes as an injection, sometimes as a pill. It is not common for other people with neuropathy to need this. Some people with B6 toxicity need to avoid vitamin B6. This is rare, and it occurs with excessive supplementation.
