at what age do we all stop growing?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Randy Baker
39 years experience Holistic Medicine
It depends...: Most females stop growing 2-3 years after they start having their menstrual periods. Most men stop growing between ages 18 and 21, though they generally don't grow much after age 18 (although there are rare instances of late growth spurts reported). Of course I am talking about height and hopefully we all continue to grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually throughout our lives.
