EmergencyBirthContro: Plan B is one of many brands of emergency contraception or birth control. Abnormal bleeding is a well known side effect of this and all hormonal medications. With regular birth control pills, we ask that you give yourself 3mo to get used to pill. Obviously, Plan B is just one time pill but you'll need to wait for it work itself out. See your doc or go to ER if feeling weak, lightheaded, faint etc

Bleeding: for >7 days is not normal. This may be related to use of Plan B. Please notify your gynecologist.
