"Take a powder?": You can do it if you have trouble swallowing pills, but the eggs (or anything else) will taste very bitter. There is a powder form of azithromycin, intended to be mixed with water or juice. It's still bitter, but you can get it down quickly. Or the oral suspension used in young children. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about them.

I'm taking Doxycycline, Azithromycin and Narco 10-325 for an infection. I can't keep any solids or liquids down. What do I do?
I have to take 2x 500mg azithromycin tablets at once but I struggle taking pills and always choke. I usually crush pills up and take it with food or water but Ive read its not as effective. What do you recommend I mix it while its still effective?
For about a month or so I've been becoming full easily, especially solid foods. I find it's easier to eat a full meal if I drink my food as a smoothy. Otherwise I can barely eat two eggs. There's no pain and no bloating. Ideas? Thoughts?
