A member asked:

I have a hematometra, what is the cause? should i be worried as i am not able to see my gynaecologist for 2 months ?

Imperforate hymen: The most common cause of blood backing up into the uterus (hematometra) is a hymen(barrier) that doesn't allow significant menstrual blood flow to get through it. If that is the case, your GYN MD visit will be able to solve the problem quickly.
