Maybe: Hematometra is a collection of blood in the uterine cavity that would make the endometrium appear irregular on ultrasound. If the blood will not pass, treatment such as hysteroscopy with D&C may be warranted to "clean out" the cavity and ascertain the cause of the hematometra if possible.
