To see stone easier: It's a good practice to minimize bowel content and eliminate fecal material inside large bowel so the targeted stones could be easier to be seen under fluoroscopy, esp for a marginal sized small stone. More? Ask you treating doctor for individual specifics so to make your care more effective.
