Doc should worry: You are correct to be alarmed by these headaches. Failure to be aggressive with migraines will lead to chronic headache disorders. If you have not seen a neurologist who specializes in headaches, then do so asap. Migraines are not only painful but cause brain injury. You need a full work up including your dental bite and sinus exam. Triggers need ID and both prevention and ablation therapy.
