Gastroenteritis: This stomach and probable intestinal inflammation could be the result of food poisoning or be due to a viral infection and both can have associated headache. Treatment usually consists of rest, Tylenol, (acetaminophen) a bland and light diet, AVoidance of harsh roughage, and intake of adequate room temperature liquids. Flat ginger ale is good. See your physician if symptoms persist or worsen.
