Hello, i have a painful, hard, quarter sized lump on my upper thigh. its red around the actual lump and hasn't got any smaller.

Abcess or pustule.: This may be a small abcess or pustule. The redness around the lump may also be a sign of infection. Could also be an infected hair follicle from shaving the legs. See your doc over this to make sure it is not serious.
