See a doctor: Hi, you should see a doctor for an examination. If the problem comes and goes, you can wait a little. But if it is ongoing or worsening, you should see a doctor as soon as possible.

NERVE PROBLEM: This sounds like a peripheral neuropathy or "nerve condition", affecting the sensory nerves in your hand/fingers. It could be due to some nerve impingement that is occurring in your elbow or more likely in your wrist. There are also other inflammatory or even metabolic causes that must be considered. I think a visit to your primary care physician would be a good first place to start.
