ATHLETES FOOT: Most likely he has what is well known as Athletes Feet or Tinea Pedis. Over the counter antifungal should resolve it, but it takes compliance and patience, give it 3 months.

H2o H2o everywhere.: Certainly a fungal infection should be a consideration in the cause of the skin condition, but the all around peeling can also be associated with excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis. The excessive sweat has a weakening effect on the skin's structure causing it to crack and slough that is seen a peeling. Check to see if unusually wet socks or feet are evident. If so, have it evaluated.
