You must be having a: painful struggle. If you are cutting yourself please seek help. Be honest with yourself and the doctor who can refer you to a mental health professional who can be caring and understanding. Relief is possible and you deserve help in overcoming this behavior and addressing the feelings and issues that drive it. Seek support from those who love you and care about you. Best regards for relief.

NSSI SIB: Cutting is a sign of your emotional distress. It doesn't always mean you need a hospital but it does mean you need help. Trust your doctor enough to tell them (and your parents). Then work out a plan to keep yourself safe while they find the right therapist or psychiatrist for you.

Self injury: The first step is not hiding cutting. Bring this up with your doctor. Bringing this out in the open is a good way to start recovery. It usually doesn't mean hospitalization. Best wishes.

It depends: But like most folks with this type of problem, you may be either in a lot of pain, not able to feel much of anything, and all sorts of other reasons. Either way, getting help in the form of therapy, and potentially other types of assistance such as meds, groups, etc, depending upon your situation, your needs, and other issues, it sounds like what you need right now. Good luck!
