Pregnancy: While pregnant your joints and ligaments, especially those in the pelvis and hips, become more loose, and this could cause pain. It is common and usually goes away a few weeks or a few months after delivery. Talk to your OB about how best to manage this. I had hip pain while pregnant, too, but I managed not to take any meds. Warm bath and stretching, yoga helped me, as well as walking, swimming
