Here are some...: You probably had the "best" form of testicular cancer ( pure seminoma) at its early stage. If so, that is what all you need without further treatment such as chemo or radiation. As to the degree & interval of follow-up, they could somewhat vary among individual doctors. So, ask your treating doctor for realistic plan and expectation at this time for s/he would possess more info than anyone online.

No: If the testicular cancer is cured by surgery alone (time will tell, through follow-up tests over the coming 5-10 years), a guy is in the same boat as other guys in the community. He is not at increased risk for other cancers, if he follows the general recommendations, such as: no tobacco, do eat a healthy diet, keep a normal weight, exercise regularly, use sun protection, get HepB vaccine, etc...
