Bladder sphincter: Holding your water requires tightening the urinary sphincter. This valve is muscular and prolonged tension requires fighting normal reflexes and super muscle tension. This causes some sphincter muscle spasm and residual tightness with narrowing. The bladder muscle forces urine thru this narrow opening causing discomfort until the sphincter muscle fully relaxes and opens then Ahhh!

Pelvic relaxation: This is pelvic relaxation, This occurred by the combination of the elasticity of you tissue by the Ehlers Danlos and the previous deliveries. This is best evaluated by a uro-gynecologist who specifically deals with these issues. Have your physician send you to one.
