Just the outside: The outside is the vulva and can be be gently washed during baths and showers. The inside is the vagina. Vaginas are not meant to be washed. That means washing vaginas is not natural, and can mess up the inside, balanced conditions of a vagina. It's nice to have good hygiene, but know that vaginas are "self-cleaning". Using condoms prevents semen from sitting in and disintegrating in the vagina.

Diluted vinegar: Diluted white vinegar, no perfumes, - in moderation - can be used to cleanse the vagina from unpleasant odor, for example, around the time of menses. Recurrent infections with bacterial vaginosis, causing a fishy smell should not be treated with excessive vaginal doushing, but should be evaluated by a health care provider.

Squeaky Clean: Don't go overboard on cleaning your vagina. Don't use regular soap inside the vagina. http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/vagina-health/Pages/keep-vagina-clean.aspx
