I just found out i have a brochial cleft cyst on my neck and i was wondering, does every case need surgery for removal or can it just go away?

Depends: They are congenital ( you are born with ) , smaller malformation will not give any trouble , most of the time they drain out give infections to the sinus tract and have very low incidence of malignant transformation Speak to your doctor. Removal is low risk surgical procedure .
