A member asked:

Healthworker makes sudden hypoglycemia despite he ate before 1hour. what blood test regarding this issue should he do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Document: How do you know it was really hypoglycemia and not a panic attack or something similar or early type II diabetes or just the postprancial syndrome? A well-informed physician can work up a differential diagnosis. Fasting hypoglycemia is the most concerning -- a test for Whipple's triad and a C-reactive protein. These are all things to discuss if you're the patient. Best wishes.
