Viral Cold or Strep: 28 y/o male says, I'm feeling a tiny lump inside throat. It isn't burning but I can feel it when I swallow my saliva. if one is not a Smoker or Tobacco Chewing most likely an infection with bacteria like Streptococcus which can cause white or yellow spots, even red dots on the throat/ tonsils/roof of mouth. Cold caused by Viruses can also give sore throat/ lump in the throat. If fever comes see MD
