Hearing loss.: We're supposed to have equivalent hearing in both ears. If you're hearing is less in one ear, this could represent inflammation, infection or damage to the hearing mechanism, or uncommonly something related to the brain's processing of input from the ear. This should be investigated by an ear, nose and throat doctor.
