Dysfunction bleeding: Would check HCG for pregnancy , may be variation, pregnancy-implastation bleeding,early miscarriage , ectopic or infection or due to polyps, fibroids. . Can also check TSH as thyroid issues can cause menstarual irregularities. if all negative may consider ultrasound to check for ectopic or ovarian issues f/u /w/ doc
