Risk of miscarriage: Any bleeding early in pregnancy increases your risk of miscarriage from around 20% to around 50%, but light bleeding is less worrisome than heavy bleeding. If the ultrasound confirmed the pregnancy is in the uterus then you have to wait and see. Hormone levels could be helpful to confirm that all is normal.
