Get a nose check: The sudden loss of the sense of smell without any history of trauma or injury can be concerning. The causes are many and include common things like allergy and sinus infection, to less common (nasal polyps) or rare (tumors of the nose or olfactory bulb). You would be wise to be evaluated by an ear, nose and throat physician as soon as possible.
