Bleeding after sex: Bleeding after sex definitely is not normal. There are several possible causes -- most not very dangerous, but always requiring professional evaluation. Hormone issue, uterus problems, cervical inflammation (cervicitis) are common; also chlamydia or gonorrhea, if at risk for STD (new partner, partner with other partners, etc). If the bleeding isn't very heavy, safe to wait until after the weekend.
