Endometrial ablation: Endometrial ablations can and do fail to resolve bleeding issues. If there is enough cyclic menstrual bleeding to constitute a regular period, you can become pregnant. At age 41, ovulation is sporadic and pregnancy unlikely but still possible.

Endometrium: Menstrual bleeding after endometrial ablation indicates the presence of inner lining (endometrium). More bleeding could indicate that the endometrium is recovering. Eventually it may be sufficient for a fertilized egg to successfully implant.
