Varies: More than 95% of hair thinning in men is male pattern baldness, or androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern baldness is characterized by hair receding from the lateral sides of the forehead (known as a "receding hairline") and/or a thinning crown (balding to the area known as the ‘vertex’). Both become more pronounced until they eventually meet, leaving a horseshoe-shaped ring of hair back of head.

Dr. Stuart Hickerson

No: If you donated blood a month ago, you should not be having pain. This would most likely be from phlebitis or irritation to the vein. I would have someone take a look at this or call the facility that drew the blood.

Tools for assessment: A voiding diary, or bladder diary, is a way to relate fluid intake with voiding behavior. It is usually performed over 24 or 48 hours, and the time and amount fluids are taken, the time and amount of voids, and any episodes of leakage or symptoms are noted. Doctors use this data to find patterns and help to diagnose problems in urine storage and voiding.
