It might, but...: The main symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection are itching and irritation, not discharge. When discharge is present, it's usually white, not yellow. Colored vaginal discharge usually means another infection. At your age (22), it's often an STD. For sure don't assume yeast, i.e. don't self treat with an OTC medication. See your doctor for exam and testing. Good luck1
