Can you please tell me which is the top cold/allergy medicine for a child?

AURI RX: We do not give oral rx to a child below 3 years old. You just put saline solution in the nostrils and suction it with bulb syringe.

You decide: There are a few choices for allergy meds. For short term quick relief you can use a Diphenhydramine (benadryl) and for 24 hr relief claritin, (loratadine) zyrtec, and others. Some have drowsiness as a side effect so be sure to check the labels. As for colds, there is not much i recommend, but honey can be helpful for sore throats and cough if the child is over one year of age.
