I would say "yes": I'm not sure when you wrote your question, but it is Wednesday where I am so I presume your procedure was about a week ago. The black discharge likely represents old, clotted blood which would be expected, as would the cramps. Symptoms should ease off in another week or so. If they persist beyond the 2 week mark, at least place a call to your gynecologist/surgeon. Best wishes:)
