No cold medication: Z-pack & cold medication together more commonly causes arrhythmia problem. I am a Doc, but I think sucking Zinc lozengers goodfor cold. Colds dont usually require antibiotics unless U R producing yellow-green nasal D/C. Better not to choose Z-pack, could use Cefzil(Generic). Afrin or Neosynephrine clear UR nasal passages, but effect lasts few days unless U use Fluticasone as well. F/U w MD.
