It depends: I'm not aware of any controlled trials etc looking at topical cannabis creams for musculo-skeletal pain which as you might realize encompasses many different conditions. I have authorized medical cannabis for over 10 years. I would predict it generally has about a 1 in 3 chance of being effective. When oral cannabis helps the creams seem to work I would estimate in over 50% of the cases.
