Mri brain find: presence of a persistent trigeminal artery and hypoplasia of the basilar artery? do i need to see a specialist if so what kind?

While most cases are discovered incidentally and the clinical significance of a persistent trigeminal artery is debatable, association with an increased risk of intracranial aneurysm and other vascular anomalies has been reported in literature. I recommend discussing the findings with your neurologist.
