It is possible: The epidural created the problem, or you have an issue with your back compressing on a nerve. If the epidural caused the problem sometimes oral steroids are given, however, if you are breast feeding your pediatrician should weigh in on the matter. An emg/ncv is one test that can help confirm the location of a nerve injury though not always positive. Sometimes MRI's are used.
