Panic attack: As long as you are feeling okay in between episodes, it sounds like panic attacks may be the culprit. Believe it or not, they can occur during sleep. Are you under a lot of stress? Check in with your doctor. In the meantime, having feedback from a significant other or spouse during these episodes may help with diagnosis and treatment.
