Von Willebrand's: Sorry, but there's no way for a forum doctor to help very much. Diagnosing von Willebrand's disease is quite complex, usually including family history, personal history of abnormal bleeding, and several lab tests. This is something to address with his current doctor, or a hematologist, who in turn may need to see the results of the tests 11 years ago, if possible. Good luck!
