Doctor can check: A person with severe pain should be evaluated by his primary care doctor or at the E.R. Possible causes include pancreatitis, stomach ulcer, gall stones, twisted bowel, kidney stones, endometriosis, damage to big blood vessels in the abdomen, etc., etc...
