Initial herpes...: With your age and topic tag HSV, I'm guessing initial genital herpes, right? She should be on an anti-herpes drug like valacylovir or acyclovir, but it will take a few days for pain to improve. Next 2-3 days, a pain med e.g. paracetamol, maybe w/ opiate (e.g. codeine) will help; and maybe a sleep aid like zolpidem. Lidocaine anesthetic ointment will help and perhaps ease urination pain.
