OB-GYN: exam should be performed and you should have an ultrasound and repeat blood pregnancy testing. Your symptoms may simply be due to pregnancy.

The only way to know: ...for sure at this point is to see you OB who can do an ultrasound, measure the fetal heart rate and measure your actual blood HCG levels. While we would rather not see vaginal bleeding at any stage of pregnancy, it doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage is inevitable. I wish you the best. Dr. Anne
