Panniculitis/Pernio: You may have a special kind of Chillblains that attack the Fatty tissue of outer thighs&arms, low abdomen, chin, in people with extra weight during the cold days of winter when not very well covered, or if left moist. Areas turn red and purple/black and hurt. You need to rewarm them but they will blister and slough off until replaced for the new tissue. Go to a Doctor to check for lupus too.
